By creating an account, browsing, or making a purchase on Name It Me, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Who We Are

Name It Me (NameIt.ME) is an online marketplace for personalized digital children’s books. It is a brand of Active Alliances, based in Las Vegas, NV. As a marketplace, we connect independent Creators (authors and illustrators) who list their books with buyers who purchase personalized digital editions. Creators set their own prices; we process payment and add a flat customization fee for the personalization service we provide.

Accounts

We use passwordless sign-in: enter your email and we send you a magic link to log in. There is no password to remember. You are responsible for keeping access to your email secure, since anyone with access to your inbox could request a link. Please let us know right away if you believe someone has used your account without permission. You must provide a valid email address and be old enough to enter into a contract in your location.

Purchases & Pricing

• The price shown at checkout is the all-in price you pay. It includes the Creator’s price for the book plus our flat customization fee, with any applicable tax added before you confirm.
• All books are digital goods, delivered as a PDF and a Kindle-compatible .epub file. There is no physical product.
• Creators set the price of their books. The customization fee is our charge for rendering your personalized edition.
• Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store full payment card details.

Personalization

When you buy a personalized book, you provide details such as a child’s first name. We use the names and personalization details you enter solely to render your custom edition of the book. Please make sure the spelling and details are correct before you order, since your edition is generated specifically for you.

License to You

When your purchase is complete, you receive a personal, non-commercial license to the personalized book you bought. You may download it, read it, and print copies for your own family’s use. You may not redistribute, share, resell, sublicense, or use the book for any commercial purpose. The underlying book remains the property of its Creator or rights holder.

Creator Content & Marketplace Role

Books on Name It Me are created and owned by independent Creators. We provide the marketplace, personalization, payment processing, and delivery, but we do not author the books and are not the rights holder for their content. Creators are responsible for the originality and lawfulness of what they list. We may remove listings that violate our policies or the rights of others.

Refunds

Because each book is a personalized digital good rendered specifically for you, we handle refund requests case by case. If something is wrong with your order or download, please reach out through our support option, the “I need HELP!” link, and we will work with you to make it right.

Acceptable Use

• Do not use the site for any unlawful purpose or to infringe anyone’s rights.
• Do not enter personalization text that is hateful, abusive, obscene, or that impersonates or targets another person.
• Do not attempt to copy, scrape, reverse engineer, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the site or its content.
• Do not resell or redistribute books or attempt to circumvent the customization or payment process.

Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The site and its books are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent allowed by law. We do not guarantee that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, Active Alliances and Name It Me are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to a purchase will not exceed the amount you paid for that purchase.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the site after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
